  • Bad Knees and Fried Chicken

My wife had to have her knees replace several years ago. My knees are just fine.

I love fried chicken - she hates it.

Don, a good friend of ours, also hates fried chicken, and just had to have his knees replaced even though he's only 74 years old.

    It's settled science!

Eating fried chicken prevents having to have your knees replaced!
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Brilliant! I shall add that to my empirical evidence.

      Got any graphs and charts?

No, but I have seen one without a head.

That splains it -- it don't get no empiricaller than that!

                    OK, let's not overdo it!

I have applied for my GigaZillion Dollar Federal Grant to study this --- we don't want the science to be TOO settled or I don't get no research money.

Hey, I love fried chicken and I had mine replaced about 5 or 6 years ago. I still love fried chicken.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

You would be classified as an outlier, Jed. Not an out LIAR, but anomaly... an exception. Maybe you didn't eat enough chicken legs. Maybe you're a wing man. Did you eat more wings than legs? Have you had your elbows replaced?

Either your chickens are huge, or you're a very slow eater, if you only need to replace your fried chickens every 5 or 6 years or so.

As they say, there is an exception to every rule.

Of course that means that there is an exception to that rule so does that mean that there isn't an exception to every rule then?

No, because the rule that there's an exception to every rule is a rule of dum- I mean, rule of thumb that isn't meant to apply strictly to every case.

Alternatively you could argue that the exception rule is it's own exception.

                              INEXCEPTION -
