Part of the requirements for him to get a visa are that I have to be making a bit more money than I am right now. A job I recently applied for, I ended up not getting. But... I can claim the household's income as counting toward the requirement, but that means I have to live with my parents for a while longer. I don't want to do that because they are moving to an apartment and there is no room for my workshop in an apartment.
So, pray that this gets worked out, as well. It's not just the cash-in-hand we need, although that is a big part of it.
