Hey, Go, I am not much of a 'bucket list' kind of guy either - as you may have noticed. Sorry you did not post here.

I never liked the concept of the bucket list. It seems like something more associated with unbelievers. Not that Christians can't desire to do something or go somewhere before they die. But since death for the Christian is such a wonderful gift from God, in terms of entering into His presence with joy...that to think in categories that are like "oh I hope I get to do blank before I die", I don't know, it rubs me wrong.

Kind of like Paul the apostle writing "I hope I can relax on a white sand beach before I go to be with Christ which is far better..."

Ok, now that I have over-analyzed this and have been a total kill-joy here, go ahead and ignore my post.

I'd like to retire. I guess technically, once dead, one is always retired. But I'd like a few days around the house.

I kinda hit all the other ones. Marriage, kids, house, wheels. When the kids become teens I'm sure I'll look forward to them leaving. But inspite of the daily stresses I'm pretty content.

A few of the things that were on mine....

Visit Washington DC -- did that a few years ago
Van Couver, BC -- a couple years ago
visit Top Gun for the annual air show at Miramar, San Diego -- did that
visit the Holy Land -- fantastic trip last October.

Thinking of new things to add.

One thing is to become a licensed pilot - I have always loved planes! I'm 60, but there's still time.
