This is like my dream job! I always wanted a job as a mattress tester. I am not sure about 24 hours a day though. I think I would get tired of staying in bed all day.

I just want a job where I get paid for 8 hours of sleep at night, and then get the days to do whatever I want. Then it is like getting paid to not have a job.

I've been reading some test subjects' stories about their experiences. There will be some poking, prodding, and even some electrocution (not really, but they may simulate a leg or two to test reflexes, for some reason). Reading, computer, even crafts allowed as long as you don't get up AT ALL.

I would be concerned about muscle atrophy. Don't they already know what happens with bedridden patients that muscles atrophy?
