I like bacon salad. It is made with bacon plus bacon, mixed with bacon and topped with bacon. Some folks (including myself) sprinkle bacon bits on top of this as well.

Only thing I need in my salad is some sort of dressing. I've taken a liking to spinach for my salads recently. Spinach has no taste if you don't cook it so it's great for getting your vegetable intake without the foul taste of vegetables.

When a salad bar has spinach, I'll get it instead of lettuce every time. And I make a smoothie every morning using spinach and kale.

          No cheese, please.

I put dried cranberries and busted up pecans on my salad. Usually mixed greens.

Yes, haven't you had pasta salad, apple salad or potato salad?

Little know factoid...Raw Spinach contains a lot of Oxalic Acid. Oxalic Acid blocks the absorption of iron and calcium by the body. The best way to get rid of it is to chop the spinach and boil it. The longer it's cooked the more Oxalic Acid is released. If you or our wife has osteoporosis issues, it's best to avoid raw spinach...

I turn bacon into fertilizer to make more vegetables for making bacon.
