I OCCASIONALLY will get a cup of coffee from Starbucks, but generally I reject the "snob appeal" of paying too much for "burnt" tasting coffee, and prefer to get my coffee at home from our K-cup maker, one cup at a time, and none of those foofoo coffees flavored with French vanilla creame de menthe rosehip petal blossoms and stuff.

I need an "other" option.
Somebody gave me a $10 gift card to Starbucks once and I got the allotted 2 cups of coffee and have a bit of change left over on the card.
Never bought coffee (or anything else) there before, and haven't since.
I don't like strong coffee, and almost any coffee that is made outside of my kitchen is too strong for my liking.
I drink more coffee at home since we were given a Keurig machine about 3 years ago than I ever did before, but I dilute the coffee with hot water, and then reuse the little cups a second time.
My new favourite flavour is Jamaica Me Crazy by Wolfgang Puck. Not too strong a brew, with a hint of coconut and a bit of ginger. I also love Cinnamon Pastry and Gingerbread and Pumpkin Spice. Can you tell I like the spicy ones?
AND I know for a fact that CP used to drink Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee Coffee! Because he told me about it and I got some!
Securely anchored to the Rock amid every storm of trial, testing or tribulation.

Other than coffee, I like using it to make hot apple cider.

I used to spend a lot of time in coffee houses (usually playing chess). On principle I usually preferred locally owned ones because I don't like the burnt taste of Starbucks but I'm really not all that picky. To me, coffee is coffee..."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

My situation is a bit unique. I can only drink decaf coffee due to hypertension and afib. That said, I almost never get coffee at restaurants because people forget to give me decaf and sometimes get me regular coffee instead. If I can get the coffee myself from a station where you can pour your own drinks then I usually get it.
I think Starbucks sucks. I'd rather have McDonald's coffee."Concentrate on what you have to do. Fix your eyes on it. Remind yourself that your task is to be a good human being; remind yourself what nature demands of people. Then do it, without hesitation, and speak the truth as you see it. But with kindness. With humility. Without hypocrisy."

I do not visit Starbucks because of their political activism - supporting homosexual marriage and gun control. I don't often buy espresso because of the cost. Also when I do buy an espresso there are better places, selling better coffee for less cost.
Just to match some other posts some misc. info. I usually make my coffee one cup at a time. Grind my own beans one cup at a time. I like strong unsweetened coffee. My beans come from Costco.
ETA: I could not vote in the poll since none of the options matched my situation.Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Hmmm. I thought you Alaskans would make your own coffee from Caribou poop or something.

I can't stand Starbucks coffee. I think it tastes absolutely vile compared to most other cafes"If you can ever make any major religion look absolutely ludicrous, chances are you haven't understood it"
