Hi Teal,

Haven't gotten that far yet. This much work, yeah I'm stuck farming some of it out, if only because I need more hands than my own, maneuvering long and heavy lumber. That, and there will be some roof work, after ripping the chimney off. I hate ladders.

My next step is likely to find a real engineer who can determine how I can fix the rafter ties. I have some ideas, but it's probably best to find someone who knows better.

By yourself? Demo, siding, sheeting and vapor barrier - along with rafter ties? Er... Don't plan on any sleep...
