My great grandfather

This is my great grandfather. My paternal grandfather's father. He murdered his wife in a drunken fury and spent less than 10 years in prison. Even back in those days murder was not taken seriously enough. These were taken at Folsom Prison in 1897, presumably upon his induction into the prison. I am not posting these because I am proud of this man, as you might guess.

But you are blessed indeed to know this much of your family, Jed. I don't know many people who have pics like these to start with.

This is thanks to my Sister-in-law. She has done a huge amount of family history research. My brother has lots of old family photos, for which I am very pleased.
