...and it's not just California. States as far up as Idaho and as far east as Colorado have wildfires too. 😬Last edited by DesertBerean; 08-22-2020, 01:44 PM.Watch your links! http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/fa...corumetiquette

And in 2016 they had nearly 4000 wildfires. Just one county, DeKalb, had separate 300 wildfires. Here is a map from their forestry department of wildfire locations.

It's not just the States. The interior of BC is on fire.
At least Alberta hasn't had much to speak of.......yet........but we've had more than our share of rain this year.

There is some serious real estate in danger down there. And all I can think of is, why the plane laying down PhosChek has wheels down. 🙄Watch your links! http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/fa...corumetiquette

Thing is, quite a few of these fires could've been prevented or more managed with proper prevention.Watch your links! http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/fa...corumetiquette

I do remember the "ever watching" the wind direction, humidity, rain chances.... it burned for 28 days over 20,000 acres of TREES, and destroyed over 70 homes. Later that same year, not as close to us, was another wildfire that burned for 37 days, burning over 34,000 acres and destroying 1,600 homes. (I looked it up just to make sure)
This is a picture of the son of a friend of mine who worked the entire Tri-County Wildfire, only taking naps, then going again.

It was amazing to see how the "balls of fire" could just jump from one bunch of treetops, all the way across a highway, and burst into flames on another whole stand of trees. We had been in severe drought for several years prior to that. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
