So I bought a couple of ultra-rare CDs from a guy in the Netherlands the other day, only to find out that one of them wasn't a CD. Turns out I didn't read closely enough to find out that it's a tape.
Still, I'm glad I bought it. It was pretty cheap, and it's #15 of 25! Can't get much rarer than that.
Maybe I'm a tape collector now, too. How long, I wonder, until I add vinyls to that list?

My collection isn't really worth anything either, except to me. I have several CDs that I could probably sell for between $50 and $100, but it would be tough to find someone who even recognized them, without already owning them.

Some of the most interesting stamps I have are from WW 2 Germany. Overprinted with stuff like "200 million pennig", etc., on one stamp, right over Hitler's face. Maybe they are post-war, I am not sure. I have friends who save stamps for me, and I have belonged to one or another purchasing club over the years, so I have quite a few from all over the world.
I also have a very small collection of china and other items with violets on them. Don't know why, I am just enthralled by violets on china.
