I was watching some of the old Popeye movies the other day, including Popeye the Sailor Meets Ali Baba's Forty Thieves as well as Popeye the Sailor Meets Sindbad the Sailor (the full versions)

Mrs CP and I watch very little "new" stuff - we've binge watched Bonanza (I had forgotten how GOOFY some of those episodes were) and Dragnet and other really old shows.
And, since we're getting ready to hit the rails as hobos, we've been watching a lot of YouTube videos on Amtrak and various trains and routes.

It's like.... some of the episodes were actually intended to reinforce a moral principle --- and others were just downright goofy.

Just watched one "Any Friend of Walter's" where the bad guys were pretty much the three stooges in cowboy clothes.
