1Cor 15:34 εκνηψατε δικαιως και μη αμαρτανετε αγνωσιαν γαρ θεου τινες εχουσιν προς εντροπην υμιν λεγω
Come to your senses as you ought and stop sinning; for I say to your shame, there are some who know not God.
    .
If Palm Sunday really was a Sunday, Christ was crucified on a Thursday (which could be adduced from the gospels anyway).

"The woman stands out why can't I go" or "Why shouldn't women stand out?"

Being I have a Scandinavian last name I've always enjoyed the way I'm addressed in Japanese... "xxx"son-san

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

The second is very good - captures the nuance somewhat better than my own translation.

Sadly, modern Japanese is not as honorific rich as it was just after WWII.

It was more than a few moons ago too.

Another one using いけない、this one from "Mahoromatic" - the title character is a battle android whose ambition (met) was to become a maid when she retired.

You shouldn't be a pervert? My mind still has a bit of trouble processing Japanese grammar so I might be pretty off on that one.

It's pretty good; well within range for a dynamic equivalent.

This one needs a bit of background info:
The name of the high school club magazine pictured is the name of the manga/anime: it is a two step pun, translate to English, then think of a children's rhyme.
The picture on the magazine cover is a metaphor. The ookami represents the faculty, usagi represent either the student body generally, or one student in particular.
Usagi and ookami are usually written in Katakana.

AKB48 isn't known for deep and meaningful - but exceptions like 軽蔑していた愛情 (rejected affection - addressing bullying in schools) do crop up from time to time.
