For so long I thought that flying cars were only present in fiction, but I only just now discovered that it's been a real thing in the works for over a hundred years.

The latter. I don't know how many times I've looked over at the car beside me only to see a woman staring intently into her rearview mirror while applying eyeliner or mascara. A sudden stop or bump and she could lose an eye.

A conversation about this with a now retired local radio host got him to "rant" on the air about women who fard in cars resulting in a whole bunch of calls to the station

He loved doing stuff like that back before being syndicated. Like complaining about all of the thespians in Hollywood.
