Sounds like a more sophisticated version of "What sort of Disney Princess are you?" used by Chinese trawlers to get personal information about you.

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

You're thinking of the Myers Briggs test.

      P1) If , then I win.

      P2)

      C) I win.

It doesn't ask you for any information, just asks you to choose how you agree or disagree with various statements of morality, emotions or personality. And you don't have to give up your friends list and personal info like on facecrack "tests"

but yeah I don't think these tests are all that accurate. Too easy to answer how you think a 'good person' would answer and game the results. It's just for fun. Although I do think it matches up particularly well with me, especially the bar showing my super intelligence!

Jordan Peterson is a big fan of the Big Five. The one he uses/recommends uses the acronym "OCEAN" -- Openness, Conscientiousness, Extroversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism. It rather pointedly does NOT include an "intellect" aspect. It views personality traits as distinct from intellect, and in fact certain personality traits can limit the success one might be expected to achieve based on actual measures of intellect such as IQ.

I took the "Truity" version of the OCEAN Big Five on my birthday back in 2018. It was pretty darned accurate. I'll try to attach it.

            ...

Nope, can't do it. Your system won't allow me to attach an .htm file.

            Here's a summary:

            Openness -- 52% -- "Moderate."

            Conscientiousness -- 20% -- "Low."

            Extraversion (sic) -- 37% -- "Low."

            Agreeableness -- 62.5% -- "Moderate."

            Neuroticism -- 85% -- "High."

I know these personality tests are mostly for fun, but I am always amazed at how much twebbers seem to score alike, especially on things like being introverts. I guess we all feel more at ease chatting via text with others on forums, which is why we tend to congregate on them.

Like you hypothesize, it's a part of the medium. Just like "Storytime Animators" tend to mostly be introverts.

Reviving this zombie because I retook the test, this time at JP's own site. (Yes, I paid the $10.)

I also took the HEXACO test. It's derived from the "Big Five" or "Five Factors" model, but renames some of the "factors" and adds a sixth. I'd like to upload it, but the "Attachment" button appears to be dead.

WRT the 2018 test, I was surprised at *how* high was my Neuroticism, and *how* low was my Conscientiousness.

WRT the 2022 test, I was surprised that those two are even more extreme, and that my Openness and especially my Agreeableness had changed.

I'm reading through the rather detailed descriptions and explanations that accompany the report. Many things are really spot-on, but others not so much.
