I've been periodically keeping my eye on this very slow-moving project, but it looks very promising as a free open-source alternative to Windows, built entirely from scratch and without any Microsoft-made code in it at all. A long time ago I tried it out in a virtual machine and it looked good, if a little buggy (maybe because I was using incorrect machine settings*). But I've never tried it yet as a host OS.
That said, has anyone here tried it as a host OS? I'd be curious to hear about your experiences with it.
*Edit to add: I looked at the wiki and figured out the bugginess I found is probably because they recommend VirtualBox 5.2, while I've been using 6.0.
