That sucks. Maybe they'll offload it to some online streaming channel in the near future.

You know what I would like to see? Someone rerun the old Werewolf series that was on the FOX network in the late 80's. Loved that show.

Yeah! It even had Chuck Conners!

That show was pretty cool. Sort of like The Incredible Hulk with a werewolf if I recall.

We need a hulu night! Everyone hit the couch with a bucket of popcorn, the Tivo on 'Old Bruce Campbell shows' and the computer set to Google+...

                Then we can watch Werewolf!

One thing the Fox show did right - it's werewolves weren't pretty. They weren't wolfmen and they weren't beautiful wolves - they looked as nasty as the 'real' thing.

                And it had Chuck Connors!!!

Yeah those werewolves were pretty epic looking. Clearly inspired by The Howling series I think. I only caught a few episodes when it originally aired. I remember it was part of the huge hype machine that was the new Fox network coming on air. I remember that being a really big deal.

That's one reason I've been enjoying The Strain. The vampires don't glitter. They aren't looking for a reincarnation of their long dead love. They aren't suffering from angst or fighting against the hunger for blood. They are anything but debonair. They are nasty, horrible and an utterly evil monster.

I'm always still in trouble again

I I love that show, but I can't get anyone else to watch it. I think Guillermo del Toro was guaranteed something like 3 or 4 seasons, and they've said that they only intend to go 4 or 5, so at least it won't be canceled by surprise or anything.

I was watching The Strain, and enjoying it, and then just stopped. That happens a lot with me and tv shows. It's not like the show bores me or I stop liking it, I just...stop watching one day and never get around to going back to it. I've done this with The Strain, Vikings, Breaking Bad, and others. All good shows.

Chuck Conners was the creepiest/scariest dude on TV at the time. The way he played Janos was wicked. He made me hate him so much .

Same exact thing happened to me. I watched 4 episodes of it, loved it, but then just stopped. I don't know if I got bored with it or what. Now I am not sure if it's too late to get back into it.

That's not always so bad. Now you get to binge watch it! I think you need to go back to Vikings, and I had to take a break from Breaking Bad as well. Got to the point where it got too heavy. Hard to root for the protagonist when he's a meth dealer. I'm so glad I went back and finished it though. 4th best tv series I ever watched.

I tend to semi-binge watch TV shows any way. I record them on DVR and then start watching several episodes a week. Although with The Strain I watched the first two episodes yesterday.
