Is Deponia Worth It?

Over on gog.com Deponia is down to $.59, and while it's not much, I just don't know if I would end up playing it much. Any good reviews from people here? Standard point and click? Better?

What I tend to do when comparing click and point games is to compare/contrast them with the Monkey Island series, specifically the first three games. They're basically the standards by which all point and click games are to be compared with.

Never played the Monkey Island games. So, I wouldn't know. Some of the reviews on GOG do say they are of similar quality. Also compares them to Lucas Arts games.
