I guess nobody else listens to really long albums?
The longest album I've ever run across is also one of my absolute favorites: Elysian Blaze - Blood Geometry. Runtime is about 129 minutes, over only 8 tracks.

I guess with the decline of the CD, we might be seeing longer albums (and that's a good thing!) I just knew to mention the Metallica one because it was the maximum length (down to the second) that a CD could hold and still work properly.
