My wife just told me that she's never seen it (!). So we're going to watch it tonight.

I haven't seen it in over 10 years and am curious how well it has aged over time. I'd like to see it again too. I remember the soundtracks being awesome."I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

(I have no idea how many times I watched the first one.....we'll just say lots and that's while it was still in theatres. I managed to get through the second one once.....I couldn't bring myself to watch the third one)Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

Now that we have come to the setting of the sun and behold the light of evening, we praise God Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For meet it is at all times to worship Thee with voices of praise. They were all trash and the memes that sprung from it choke out what little value the mediocre first one might have had."As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12
There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt.

I was right out of boot camp when the first film came out, and I remember seeing a poster for it, but thinking it was going to be a lame Johnny Mnemonic repeat, I passed. I rented it when it came out on DVD, and was blown away. Maybe it was my low expectations for the first film, but the sequels were blech, and so was everything the Wachowski Brothers (oops, I mean Siblings) did since. There's just something about their films that really grate on me. I guess maybe its the psuedo-intellectual posturing of their films. Its like, all of their films are what I imagine some stoned college kids with a Philosophy 101 class under his belt would discuss in a purple haze. Even their adaptions feel that way.
