I moved this off of Rogue's political thread

It was the best one I've heard so far, but I still couldn't get all the way through it. It's rather monotonous for 5+ minutes. I could barely understand what he was saying, and I'm not much for lyrics anyway. The girl harmonies was the best part.

And just to show you how far off the beaten path I am in musical taste, this is my favorite song of all time. My wife and kids hate it. It has every element that I like. (proper Beatle videos tend to be blocked on YouTube, this is BitChute)

Definitely old-school but not bad. I tend to like classic Disney songs, video game music, and Japanese pop. The following isn't my favorite but I do enjoy it quite a bit.

I enjoyed that. That's another element of music that I like; variety. In that, there are a lot of changes happening. Someone strumming two chords on an acoustic guitar for 3-4 minutes will put me off pretty quickly. Must be my attention span.

That's one of the things I love about Japanese music. You get so many more instruments and genres used together in ways you don't see often here. Here is another one I like. It is a bit hard to understand without reading the lyrics in some places but it is pretty good.

Pretty much all of the music from Persona 4 and 5 was really good. It's just a really good video game series all around.

Thanks for listening. Yeah, those female harmonies are piercing. From reading some of the comments, the song and video accurately depicts the underground rave culture in England.

Someone mentioned Will Smith in the other thread. His daughter Willow is quite talented as well:

I listened to The Streets some nearly 20 years ago. My friend in high school was into them and had two of their albums. Revisiting them again now, I'm not a fan.
"I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

I hadn't heard of them before but they aren't to my taste either.
