Wow! You made it! Here you are in the Admissions and Orientation Department of Tweb! This is where the rubber first hits the road; where the pedal first hits the metal; where the nuts come out of the woodwork to make sure you feel at home here.

The Admissions area is only for welcome posts to announce the arrival of a new inmate resident, and we encourage you to leave here and head out into the great big wide world of Tweb as soon as you feel comfortable in your new username.

Be sure to reply to your welcome thread, or introduce yourself if our welcome committee is out to lunch or painting their living room.

  • Introducing myself - What I believe.

Hello. Hi. My name is Jacob Martin Mertens.

I believe that God is one, first and foremost. I am a Christian. I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, God's Anointed One.

Jesus is a Prophet, a Priest, a King. He is my Lord and Savior. The Unique One and Only Begotten Son of God.

    Peace!

    Welcome to tweb

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

              Some tips for you Jacob:

Some of our forums have restrictions on who can post in them, or what can be discussed in them. At the top of each page in a thread you can read the guidelines for that section (yellow box). Please read that before posting or responding in a thread. I have noticed that you are an unorthodox Christian and we have some areas that are only for orthodox Christians such as Christianity 201. As an unorthodox Christian you are not allowed to post in those sections. I have noticed that you have already done so, so I am writing this to you to instruct you on how this website works and to be careful where you post.

Thank you. I am a Christian and I do not like to be seen as unorthodox. But I posted there before changing to unorthodox once I read about orthodox being Trinitarian. For me this does not make sense. But even though I believe I am being persecuted and not allowed to participate fully, I am trying to respect the rules. That is why you see that it says unorthodox Christian for me.

We appreciate you changing your faith designation. We don't intend to exclude; we just want certain areas to have a common basis for discussion. You are always free to start your own discussion in an area which you are allowed to post that references a discussion where you are not. Like it or not, your position is very much in the minority among Christians (which does not make it necessarily wrong).
Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom
