For years I have argued with a friend about abortion. Interestingly he is pro-life as am I but he does not think that anything anybody says or does will change anyone's mind on the issue. I disagree. I think with the advancements in technology like ultrasound (especially 3-D ultrasound) can definitely make people stop and think about any pro-abortion position that they hold.
Bernard Nathanson, one of the co-founders of the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws (NARAL) said he went from being one of America's most vocal and active supporters of abortion to being pro-life and would later find Christ as a result thanks to seeing an abortion take place using ultrasound. If someone like that can change his mind I think that anybody can.
Anywho... as for changing minds in general, Gallup polls have documented a major shift in opinion concerning abortion although the media still tries to portray the pro-life position as "extreme" and outside the mainstream.

Don't stop letting people know that you are pro-life and definitely explain why. We can and are making a difference.
