Eh, we got censored and uncensored versions of singles and LPs er tapes and CDs (which we still have in some fashion or form today). Bunch of musicians (including one of my faves, the Dead Kennedys) got in trouble for obscenity (which probably helped the bands/rappers success more than it hindered). And of course, we got the parent advisory stickers on new albums in major record stores and retail outlets, which I believe we still have to this day (though it's been forever and day since last I bought a mainstream album from a major retail outlet).

I worked for several years in a couple of record stores in the 90s. The advisory stickers were kind of a big deal. I think it had an impact, but mostly for those parents who cared what their kids listened to. Plenty of people didn't care at all.

The staff loves to pick on me because I OCCASIONALLY accidentally edit a post instead of "quote/reply", and I OCCASIONALLY amen a thread instead of reporting it, THEN report it, after accidentally editing it, and misspelling thread titles, and sometimes - RARELY - all of the above at the same time.

            Picky, Picky, Picky!!!!!!

And 'Adrift' is an anagram of 'A fit Dr.' That can't be coincidence, amIrite?

You forgot about amening it first

I'm always still in trouble again
