Biden is the Dan Quayle of the Democratic Party. Obama kept having to put a leash on him trying to keep him on script and not improvising as hilarity would almost always ensue. Even those on the left who would love to support him in a presidential run against the "more hawkish" Hillary and would love to sing his praises understand this as can be seen in this piece by MSNBC (the network the Obama Administration said they love): Why Joe Biden’s gaffes matter (Slight Language Warning).

Still "Uncle Joe" is a very likable kind of guy. Very personable.

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

Wait, didn't they call another leader in the past "Uncle Joe?"

He'd be a riot at parties! And, even some us hateful bubbleheaded right wingers commented on what a good father and family man he was.

Very personable. Especially when he starts getting "handsy" with the ladies.

You can tell just how much Obama has lowered the standards in America when we look at Biden and say, "You know, maybe he's not so bad..."

Same way Obama makes Jimmy Carter look not so bad? By the way, JC recently gave his assessment of Obama's foreign policy: "On the world stage, I think [Obama's accomplishments] have been minimal," Carter said. "I think he has done some good things domestically, like health reform and so forth. But on the world stage, just to be objective about it, I can't think of many nations in the world where we have a better relationship now than when he took over."

He pays lip service to healthcare reform, but objectively speaking, even healthcare reform is a disaster when you really look at the numbers and realize that for most people, healthcare is more expensive than ever before, and our healthcare options are more limited than ever before, not to mention the devastating impact it has had on the job market.

That has been one of Obama's proudest achievements. How much closer our relationships with other countries are since he took over.

Obama still hasn't figured out that they're laughing at us, not with us.

Besides Cuba, which countries? And Obama gave away the store with nothing in return for that.

The liberal media is, like some of you, trying to marginalize him in everyway they possibly can. So far, it hasn't worked, but not because libs aren't trying and trying hard. I detect underlying fear beneath the "Oh, he's such a clown." comments. It is fun and educational to watch and read their posturing.
Trump may have the correct formula to galvanize a majority of idiots, and in the republican party that can go a long way, but not usually far enough to secure the nomination. Thats why the far more level headed Bush, even with that name hanging around his neck, leads in the polls. You people have the same debate with yourselves every election, 'its time to elect a real conservative, we never win when we select a moderate' and then the real conservatives turn out to be a bunch of clowns and you end up selecting a moderate.

                                Global confidence polls (2003 - 2015).

                                Spoiler: Obama significantly outperforms Bush.
