Radical Islamic groups couldn't even take out Gaddafi without western backing. They still haven't taken out Assad's regime WITH western backing. What makes you think they'll take out western countries so easily?

Unless people wake up and turn to Christ.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

You're saying that because you're deluded, and need to be freed.

There remains the possibility that Christianity is replaced by even more oppressive religious systems of governance such as Islam – on the scale of hundreds of years. What we have to do is distil out of Christianity the parts that are worth keeping and discard the supernatural garbage.
Well, Gee, if Christ be not risen from the dead (supernatural), Christianity is hopeless.

A message I saw in response to the gay marriage ruling:

"Oh, good. Now maybe we can deal with some real problems like America's encroaching police state and Muslim terrorists."

          My response:

"If this ruling has demonstrated anything it's that America no longer has the moral fortitude to combat evil."

It is my belief that given the startling rapidity of America's moral decline, we will be easily overtaken by foreign interests, and this country will be unrecognizable within 50-years.

At what point in time do you believe America was at a moral apex?

Probably at some point prior to the Supreme Court deciding that a phrase taken out of context from a private correspondence by Thomas Jefferson constituted a legal precedent.

So the left won the battle, as they did with gay rights in general and abortion. But, I believe, this will eventually destroy our society. For most of the history of the West, and US in particular, the Christian faith was a powerful force for social cohesion. Even those who were not Christian generally agree that things like homosexuality, adultery, fornication, instant gratification, out of wedlock births, cheating, etc... were wrong - not morally acceptable. As the Christian influence wanes in the West, what will be the godless philosophy or ideals that brings said societal unity? I suspect that what ever it is, it will be totalitarian in nature. As we presently see, to a lesser degree, with the Political Correctness movement and speech codes on campus.
I suspect this is more or less an accurate representation of the situation:

No, I don't think they will attack the west, but will win by demographics. By higher birth rates.

Then you're talking generations of gradual infiltration to assume Islam will dictate western politics as a whole, assuming the western political system eventually gives in to that gradual infiltration, which itself is highly implausible. But it certainly won't happen without much societal and political conflict and strife in between that time.

I'm sure you would, and you will no doubt scour Google and name all the "evils" you can find from that period and say, "Really? This is America's moral apex?" Which, of course, will completely miss the point.

Let me put it like this: in the last 50-years, Christianity has been effectively banned from the public school classroom, murdering one's unborn child became legal, and the Supreme Court has now decreed that two people of the same sex can "marry". All in a mere 50-years. If that's not a rapid moral decline then I don't know what is, and I shudder to imagine what the next 50-years will bring if we continue down this path.

The point is the idea of a current moral decline is absurd. By trading the present for the past, you'll be trading gay marriage for Japanese internment camps, abortion for the Trail of Tears, and the separation of church and state for slavery. Your pet issues will be resolved, but a greater problem is always looming. Contemporary America finds both your morals and these past atrocities distasteful. That's not indicative of a moral decline, it's indicative of a moral ascension, and you are being left behind.
