        Questions for Newton supporters:

        1. Do you think gravity is a good idea?
---2. If so, have you used it yet?
------3. Is it saving your aching back?

Good grief, guys, newsflash: The most controversial element of Obamacare, pushed by Obama, the liberal, came from the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. It doesn't have to be, and shouldn't be, a partisan issue. Judge it on its merits, not by whether you like the president or not.

What makes you think we're not judging it on its merits?

And if it has merit and you supported it, there's something not right with a picture in which you don't sign up (assuming you have to this year). The questions are valid (not the best organized but this is the internet, after all) - so why to do you presume an attack on the president when he only asked about a specific policy?

              What merits?

I just want to find out if the people who are on Obama's side are happy with his plan or not.

And I was planning on trying out that gravity thing one day. Did Obama come up with it?

It wouldn't be so bad, had it been like 0.5G instead. I get tired of walking up and down stairs too easily. Can we repeal the law of gravity just a bit? It was a good idea and all; but it's a bit too much.

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama expressed opposition to a mandate requiring all Americans to buy health care insurance. In a Feb. 28, 2008, interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Obama sought to distinguish himself from then-candidate Hillary Clinton by saying, "Both of us want to provide health care to all Americans. There’s a slight difference, and her plan is a good one. But, she mandates that everybody buy health care.

                    Sort of. From the piece:

They erred from the get-go by taking a liberal position and using it to formulate their policy.

On the merits, government should be running as little as possible (unless you like programs that cost more, and deliver less, than promised while going deeper in debt). Obama has little to do with why I don't like Obamacare; you've gotten that precisely backwards.

You're treating this subject way too trivially, CP...I think you need to approach the issue with a little more gravity.

It's a heavy subject for sure.
