Good grief, guys, newsflash: The most controversial element of Obamacare, pushed by Obama, the liberal, came from the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. It doesn't have to be, and shouldn't be, a partisan issue. Judge it on its merits, not by whether you like the president or not.

Professional conservatives have a lot of stupid ideas. For example, the current crop of professional conservatives in congress think it's a good idea to legalize millions of Mexicans who will inevitably put anything even remotely resembling conservatism into the grave where it belongs.

On the merits, government should be running as little as possible (unless you like programs that cost more, and deliver less, than promised while going deeper in debt). Obama has little to do with why I don't like Obamacare; you've gotten that precisely backwards.

My favorite Obamacare "success" story was the woman who signed up for her "free" government insurance, sent Obama a thank you note, Obama paraded her note before the press and patted himself on the back, and then less than a month later she was suddenly charged for the full amount which she couldn't actually afford. The funniest part is that she was so sure that as a single mother making $50,000 a year that she would qualify for the freebies when the fact is that she is being asked to pay for everybody else's freebies.
