Meanwhile, this is not Ferguson - here we have a black police commissioner, a black mayor.... but we have the same result. Supposed "Justice" in the form of looting, violence, burning.... But, wait!!! Al Sharpton is on his way to save the day. Everybody remembers how much calmer Ferguson got when he entered the scene, yes?

They need a WHOLE lot of prayer!

Was writing an essay about that last night, but if you look at some of the history of misconduct, you can start to understand the response of anger. Baltimore needs prayers, not just for the riots, but for the whole city and against the evil there.

They will be recycled the next time riots break out in case you all forget, as they are in fact universally applicable. Rioting is one situation where a respect for democracy gets you nowhere, because the ultimate anti-democratic act is to fire into a crowd.
I don't get it, I was watching this last night, and the cops just stood down. They let it happen.

CHAOS: 15 Officers Injured, Businesses Looted, Fires Set As Violent Riots Plague Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Fifteen Baltimore City police officers were injured, multiple vehicles were vandalized and set on fire, and businesses were looted as a massive group of rioters ran wild along North Avenue early Monday evening.

As a result, a city-wide curfew was put in place in an effort to restore order.

It’s believed the riots may be a result of fliers that were apparently shared over the weekend on social media asking high schoolers to rally at Mondawmin Mall. It was supposed to be a peaceful march for Freddie Gray that extended from Mondawmin Mall to The Avenue.

Instead, things quickly spiraled out of control.

Police said the hurt officers suffered injuries from flying debris in the melee as rioters began attacking them unprovoked. At least one was knocked unconscious. Two officers remained hospitalized Monday night. Twenty-seven suspects were arrested.

They've called in the National Guard. Hopefully that will help some. I read that they burnt down a newly built Baptist church and a building that was going to be affordable housing for senior citizens. Oh, and they are cutting fire hoses now...so...yeah.
