@PM, the problem is it's a very valid issue for sports bodies.

There are athletes (and countries) out there who are willing to go to any extreme in order to win gold. (heck look at the Tour de France, for the one year where they've stripped Armstrong of his medal you have to go to the rider who came around 27th before you find someone who hasn't been in a doping scandal).

The Athletics bodies have already had some issues with this, and that is just dealing with people who are generally born as woman, but with high testosterone levels etc. (I think there is still the question of the one Indian athlete who another female athlete claims tried to rape her, and that apparently she had some ....uhhhh.... plumbing that would have made it possible).

I'm certainly not accusing Jenner of this (it's not like he's stil competeing at that level, nor is he trying to compete in the woman's events). But it is a very difficult situation that I don't think they have a clear answer to (and Adrift has already mentioned a UFC case where he woman competitors are complaining)

That's your excuse for being ignorant. The viewpoints of researchers has no hold on what the research itself says if it is carried out properly.

I agree, it's a complicated topic with no clear answer. I don't think there will ever be a clear answer. That's a separate topic from willful ignorance about fundamentally related issues.

Really Tass, you can love people without accepting everything they do - you probably practice that ideal in your own life.
Well he already admits he doesn't accept what Christians do.

Viewpoints and value judgments are independent of methodology. I doubt he has even read a single relevant study's abstract.

Of all people, Rick Santorum might be the last person in the world I'd expect to accept Jenner's claim to be a woman:

As per you with your lesbians, I socialise with Christian's despite my disapproval of what they do and believe in - not there are many practising Christians in enlightened Aussie-land, and virtually none in the gentle Buddha-land of Thailand.
