. . . the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . . -- Romans 1:16 KJV

. . . that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: . . . -- 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV

Yeah and don't forget all the fracking, aerosol, black-lung, mercury in the water, acid rain, coal by products, sulfur in our soil, and methane and leachate from our landfills, over building, de-forestation, ozone depletion, and adding all that carbon to the air. We truly are being SO responsible with our environment and leaving a better world for future humans and living creatures.

Lets pat ourselves on the back about those things gang!

And anybody that disagrees with that is just a liberal pinko that ain't a manly man.

You'd almost think that our life expectancy wasn't double of what it was only a little over a hundred years ago. Given that there definitely are real downsides to the use of fossil fuels and other technological improvements for the most part they have led to a huge quality of life improvement. Thanks to movies many folks get this idyllic impression of what life was like back then when in fact for the most part it was filthy, brutal and short.

I'm always still in trouble again

        Yeah, pretty much...

I think renewable energy is more and more making progress against fossil-fuel energy. Maybe in 50 years it will be a historical footnote.
