Cerealman: I don't understand what point you are trying to make with your story.

Darth Executor: You seem to have a real obsession with 'dysgenics'. It's just bizarre.

lilpixieofterror: Pretending that widespread and severe racial injustice in the US ended 70 years ago is absurd. Go read about the Department of Justice's report on Ferguson released two weeks ago. I would have a different position on these issues if they were indeed only historical injustices, and weren't part on an ongoing history of discrimination that has continued down to the present day.

It's a weird one. Had she been in the top ten she would have gotten in. Affirmative Action only applies (per UT policy) below that. It only applied to her because she missed the top ten by two points. The Fifth Circuit seems to be ignoring the obvious - since the policy isn't universal it is unconstitutional.

Anyone else wondering why the journalism students didn't just show back up to the next meeting of the same group? Because then they'd be able to truthfully answer, "Yes, I've been racialized. By you." Now THAT would have made for an interesting meeting.

Also...'racialized' shouldn't be a real word. It just sounds stupid.
"If you believe, take the first step, it leads to Jesus Christ. If you don't believe, take the first step all the same, for you are bidden to take it. No one wants to know about your faith or unbelief, your orders are to perform the act of obedience on the spot. Then you will find yourself in the situation where faith becomes possible and where faith exists in the true sense of the word." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer, The Cost of Discipleship

You don't find it the least bit curious that the more naturalistic people get the dumber they act within the confines of a naturalistic universe? I find it fascinating. It's as if there was a god of atheism who really hated atheists.

I don't find it true, so I see nothing to be interested in. Nothing says that in a naturalistic universe that it is "smart" to have lots of children.

Not lots on an absolute scale but having more than other groups (and people) definitely is. It's the difference between having both your ideas and your genes (most human traits are heritable so these two aren't entirely disconnected) and having them disappear. Atheists and liberals in general fail to reproduce, consigning their genes to oblivion. You are pretty much the definition of failed organisms. Allahu Akbar!

Ryerson uproar: Opportunity for discussion not insults
The entire issue started with a misunderstanding of the definition of safe space, says Trevor Hewitt, who is a third-year Ryerson student and one of the first-year journalism students prohibited from attending the meeting

                      [...]

Hewitt says if he had understood the implication of safe space, he would have never even thought the story worth publishing.

Instead, the article made its rounds on Reddit, landing on its front page at one point, later plunging into the hellish pits of a white rights thread, among others.

It was something of a mystery to me how the OP ran across this fairly obscure student newspaper article, though less mysterious why the OP wasn't able to spot the obvious flaws. I expected some form of correction to show up eventually, and am pleased to see my patience rewarded tonight.

I think this confusion could have been easily avoided with clarification. As the article states:

The Facebook event advertised, “Racialised students who are interested in action and awareness-raising for a more inclusive campus. Join our second collective meeting to discuss and envision our mandate and next steps,” without any particularly exclusionary language.

Hoilett says the RSU strives to improve its marketing strategy of these spaces to students. For those who may not understand some of the implicit definitions of terms such as racialisation and safe space, educational resources are available online and on campus. He also hopes to see student media being more engaged and informed about the issue.
This places the onus on the person seeing the event advertised to go and do their own research, without even telling them where to look (assuming the person even takes that step to begin with). Since, in their own words, they use "non-exclusionary language" in their announcement, they are not advertising the fact that their event is nonetheless understood to be exclusionary, and I think it's fair to say that they could have stated this more explicitly.
"I am not angered that the Moral Majority boys campaign against abortion. I am angry when the same men who say, "Save OUR children" bellow "Build more and bigger bombers." That's right! Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

I think we may have found at least part of the reason why your ideology is dysgenic.

Of course, it also raises civilization wide consequences. Why should people who care about their future and the future of their children let people like you have even a shred of power over them?

I'm not sure what your point is. I found the student article linked somewhere else (honestly don't even remember now), but decided to post the original that was linked to. The article you linked to says the original report was just a misunderstanding, and then goes on to say that the students were barred for being insufficiently racialized. You know, kind of like what the original article said. The only thing your linked article seems to do differently than the original is emphasize "safe spaces", which doesn't seem to make any actual difference. The students were barred because they weren't racialized enough, which AFAICT simply means that they were barred for being white.

What do you mean by the bolded?

Well, I suppose that does deserve a response, as I did single you out, perhaps unwisely.

Your responses to the article, even excluding the fact you found the article worthy of posting, even before including your latest AFAICT, made it clear you were incapable of spotting its obvious flaws. I don't know how much effort it would take to correct this, but I do know I've no interest in helping you make the attempt. And I also know that's a rock that's unlikely to remain rolled up the hill.

He is saying that if liberals are not breeding as much as conservatives (assuming those are either genetic or learned traits from their parents) then eventually liberals will become extinct or at least they won't matter. Then us evil conservatives can go back to beating other races with whips, bring back slavery, and all those other things we are accused of wanting to do.

But since you don't care about yourself, and you clearly don't care about your ideas or others, I guess that doesn't matter to you, eh?
