He Bragged on Facebook and Went to Jail

I've seen on COPS and some other sources that people usually get busted for warrants after being stopped for something, and the cops run a check on them. First warrant check due to FB? LOL.

Actually no. There was a heinous murder in a town near my home city. I am acquainted with someone who knew one of the murderers. They committed the crime, then left some telling information on facebook. It was more than enough to draw a connection. Needless to say the police of that county were able to run a warrant check on one of them and connect the dots and arrest the pair. The person I know filled me in. Facebook in this case caught both killers both were charged plead guilty to 2nd degree on a plea bargain and not eligible for parole for some time.
