FWIW, it is just the internet. You could ask the same question about me, and I honestly don't know if anyone would/could respond. Doesn't seem like a very useful question in this context to me.

That's not really what I meant by that, it was more a general question of what would it look like online. For example, I'm a way more mild-mannered person IRL than I am on here, and I'm not exactly the most confrontational poster on here anyway.

Pretty sure that was sarcasm.

While DE can be abrasive, I think mostly he uses irony and sarcasm to make his points and people take it as being real. I could be wrong, but that is how I read his posts. I tend to do the same thing a lot of times.
