FF,
Just a quick side note on your title "Midterm Polls".... "polls" refer to the "opinion polls" or the "polling places" themselves - we generally call these "midterm elections" or "midterms" or "off year elections".
The "polls" (opinion polls) still seem to indicate that Republicans will take the Senate, albeit we might not have definitive results until after two of the states have their run-off elections. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

(Of course, since this is Kansas, his opponent is a very moderate Democrat.)Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Looks like it was a bloodbath for the democrats. Other than NH I don't see much that went well for them. Even Brownback squeezed through with a visible margin.

Unfortunately, it looks like Republicans are gonna take the Senate, which means they'll inevitably do something stupid like pass amnesty and ensure Hillary Clinton is the next president."As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12

BTW it is a little worrying that some research has indicated that opinion polls influence the vote to the extent that some voters became less inclined to support a party whose chances of winning seems slim.“I think God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability.” ― Oscar Wilde
