Originally posted by robrecht View PostSorry, I was trying to have a little bit of fun and did not want to offend or disappoint you, but did nonetheless think it might be good to differentiate among you so thanks for bringing this up. So, I will just ask you if you did not in fact agree with seer that our liberal posters are hypocrites and totalitarian and whether your were not in fact tacking on the predicates to these posters that they don't want "equality", but rather revenge and control? That is the way the conversation and pronouns (or lack thereof) seemed to be flowing between the two of you but perhaps a few crucial pronouns were not made explicit. Again apologies for upseting or disappointing you!
And I would also appreciate it if seer might also clarify to whom, if any, of our posters he would like to identify his descriptors. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Originally posted by One Bad Pig View PostLegally, if you're registered as a church, you're a church. You may charge for wedding services, etc., but those are very minor parts of what your church does, and they're not done with the intention of making a profit.
Not to mention, a church is not a business or a building. It is a group of people. I don't know of anything that requires you to "register as a church" in order to be a church or get constitutional protection.
