    More than several. The killer had 39 rounds of ammunition. The police chief said that ― but for the doctor having a gun and shooting the killer ― the killer would probably have used all 39 rounds shooting people in the hospital.

    I think I read or heard that it was against hospital policy for the doctor to have taken the gun into the hospital. I will be interested to learn what happens with regard to his employment there as a result of the shooting.
