Do you not pay attention to current events? Liberals are literally burning their own communities to the ground. Those aren't Trump supporters.

No, it's not. Remember, it takes entering the incorrect pass code nearly a dozen times over a three-hour period to trigger an iPhone device reset. Once could be dismissed as an accident. Twice could conceivably be a coincidence. But when over two-dozen members of Mueller's goon squad all did the exact same thing, dismissing it as a mere happenstance is literally unbelievable, as in it is impossible for a rational person to accept it as true.

What is Nonsense is you appearing not using the brain in your head. Are you an idiot or just refusing to look at the evidence honestly here because you hate trump more then you love the Truth one wonders. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and go with the former here. I wouldn't want to falsely accuse you of being something on this board you are not.

Well, that is where you are most obviously wrong, Trump doesn't just lie like any other politician no more than he lies just like any other human being. Trump is pathological, he lies about nearly everythng, and he does so even though it is obvious to anyone with sense that he is lying.

By accusing me of believing "all" lies is you projecting your own delusion and black and white thinking.
Then perhaps I used the wrong term in "believing." As I mentioned many times before, I don't believe you are all naive, or ignorant concerning Trumps lies and his corruption, though I do think many of his supporters are, many of you I believe are cognizant of his corruption and of his lies but defend him in all cases just the same. And that is even worse, particularly when his corrupt and lying nature poses such a risk to this country and to democracy itself here and around the world..

Like I said, it's only one color to you -- orange man bad all the time. Even if someone's bad most of the time, no one's ever bad all the time, but you can't think for yourself, you let others think for you, because you're a tool.
Well, personal attack aside, I never suggested Trump was bad all the time. I'm sure he's done a good deed every now and then in his lfe, but he is unprincipled, he's a pathological liar and he is a narcisist whose only real concern is himself, not his country, not democracy, and certainly not you his constituency. And that makes him unfit for the office to which you elected him and to which you continue to support and defend him.

Trump lies to distract you from what he’s really doing. A smokescreen of lies.

Because people routinely just put their phones on a shelf and forget about them.

Been hearing various reports that it could be as many as 31 phones that were "accidentally" erased.

Well at least is it showing us the number of people involved in this conspiracy.

Especially a Government phone that requires frequent updates and patches that MUST be accomplished for DISA compliance reporting.

and shouldn't their emails actually be on a server somewhere? On my phone, my work email just syncs to my outlook account on the company's server.

Not sure about text messages though. It would depend on if they were backed up to the cloud or not. On iPhones it is an option that I think is on by default, but they would have to have an icloud account set up.

And the DoJ has a O365 site where they are stored.

I'm not 100% sure with the DoJ and if they follow DISA STIG requirements, but iCloud backups are a no-no for DISA.

They have to have some way of backing up and restoring phones, even if just for moving to a new phone every so often. I wonder if those backups are still available too?

Correct. But I don't know a lot about the investigation into this, so

Our guys use an app to back up and restore from phone to phone when we get a new phone. If we lose our phone or it gets wiped after 10 tries, there is no retrieving text messages. But fingerprint ID unlock is required now for all Gov entities, and has been for a year, so their "Forgot password" excuse is crap if their agency followed the directions.

On 10 consecutive failed logins, the phone is configured to factory reset. So all locally stored data is erased and not recoverable.
