You forgot this one, from just this morning.

Basically how it works here is that there are posters who are not IMO particularly interested in the truth (e.g. Sparko, Mountain Man, Rogue, Mossrose, LPot), and they are also not very smart or very good at reading comprehension. So they will make claims about other posters that are wrong, without bothering to check if they are correct nor being very interested in whether they are correct. Trying to call them out for lying is pointless as they aren't fundamentally interested in truth. They felt in their gut at the time they made the claim that it was correct, and didn't bother to check it, so it wasn't a 'deliberate lie' in their mind. They don't seem to fundamentally care about other people so they don't seem to be interested in whether they might have slandered or wronged you by making false statements about you. Complaining about it to them is pointless, as they'll just mod you for calling them out on their lying. Don't bother going down that route or trying to introduce them to morality, it won't get you anywhere.

MAN IN BLACK/WESTLEY: You're that smart?
VIZZINI: Let me put it this way: have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?
MAN IN BLACK/WESTLEY: Yes.
VIZZINI: Morons.
Found the clip from that scene:

Rogue really not coping with being wrong on such a basic issue i see. The strategy of getting all his preschool friends in to give him moral support is an amusing one."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

The fact is that your claiming that the Republicans control New York because they occasionally gain control of the State Senate is so far off base that it is indeed wronger than wrong since the governorship has been in control of the Democrats since 2007 (and Republicans have only held that office for 13 of the last 50 years) and the other house of the state legislature, the Assembly (which is the equivalent of the House of Representatives) has been controlled by the Democrats since 1975.
It would be like claiming that the Republicans controlled the U.S. government when they reclaimed the Senate in 2010 while the House remained firmly in the control of the Democrats and Obama was president.
To continue to assert that you're right is an example of weapon's grade stupidity couple with a level of arrogance rarely equaled. It is the Dunning–Kruger effect squared.
