I agree. It seems to me that he takes more interest in and is more concerned with those who are critics of Trump than dealing with the substance of what they criticize Trump for.

The other day I was watching cable news (IIRC Bloomberg) which had a couple Democrat consultant/pollsters on who were upset that the party let Schiff be the one in charge of the impeachment circus. Previously it has never been the Committee he chairs that handled such matters so this shows that the Democrats actually went out of their way to have him head it. These advisors were pretty upset that the Democrats were, in their view, tossing out one of their best chances of getting Trump[1] by putting Schiff in charge saying in effect that he isn't even remotely credible.

Personally I think that the only possible worse choice to head up the impeachment circus would have been Mad Max[ine] Waters -- but boy oh boy it would've been entertaining

        1. Here is Rep. Al Green (D-TX) letting the cat out of the bag:

They're terrified that he's gonna be re-elected in 2020 and since they put all their eggs in the drive-him-outta-office basket and have done essentially nothing to counter him during an election, they are starting to panic -- and rightfully so.

I'm always still in trouble again

Ya know, this is like when I discuss "church discipline" from Jesus' teaching in Matthew 18.

If the object of the exercise is vengeance or destruction, let's send the meanest most spiteful enemy we can find to "discipline" the erring brother.

If, however, the object of the exercise is to bring truth to light, and actually resolve an issue, let's be very careful that the person(s) we send aren't there with axes to grind.

The very fact that Schiff is driving this demonstrates, to me, the partisan intent.

                                False.

You are obsessed with denigrating Trump,
False. I have no interest in denigrating Trump personally. My goal is to provide a push back against things he is doing that are wrong, and against those that try to hide, excuse, or otherwise dismiss the bad things he is doing. Look at this one example. When I say that Trump mocking a women's basic appearance is unacceptable, bad, evil - people here tell me how crazy I am and defend him doing it by saying it wasn't so bad. ANY action by Trump that belongs in the gutter that I call out, the people amenning this post of yours I'm replying to defend Trump and not uncommonly through in some insults against me to boot.

And it just gets worse. At this juncture, we have a man who tried his dead level best to get a foreign country to dig up dirt on a political rival, and the person saying 'this is wrong' is raked over the coals for doing so. As are the people in the broader public sphere testifying as to what Trump has done. You have a purple heart veteran that is getting dragged through the mud for reporting what he saw. A women who was a career diplomat dedicated to the Ukraine and US relationship whose career was destroyed for no other reason than her commitment to the principles of this country and our department of state got in the way of Giuliani's goals tied to Trumps intentions with Ukraine. Yet my offense at these things makes me 'as full of hate against trump as is humanly possible'. No.

And you want to smear my name and my integrity because I say "That is wrong"?

Wit's blatantly obvious to all of us here not named "Jim". We are honestly scared for your sanity because of just how vicious you are WRT Trump.
I don't see fear for my sanity. I see a large number of people willing to smear my name and call me all sorts of names. Do you ever sit down and look at what these people that are 'concerned' for my 'sanity' say about me on this website bill? I've been called a hypocrite, an apostate, a hater, crazy, crazed" to name a few. I receive NO positive feedback from anyone here that wants me to 'be nice to my brothers in Christ'. None. Some of you will spend entire days telling me how evil and bad I am (pix is one such person).

And frankly - it doesn't really matter. It just shows you all for who you are. Right out there in the open for all to see. And it is a very sad picture indeed.

My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19
