  • What Happened To Texas?

I really don't see how we avoid a civil war or some for of separation.

Texas jury rules against father trying to protect 7-year-old son from forced gender transition

A Texas jury returned a verdict on Monday that will prevent Jeffrey Younger from protecting his 7-year-old son from a forced gender transition by the boy's mom, Dr. Anne Georgulas.

According to LifeSiteNews, Younger had petitioned the court to grant him sole custody of his twin sons, James and Jude. But on Monday, a Dallas jury — by a vote of 11 to 1 — granted Georgulas, his ex-wife, sole custody of the boys, making her the sole decision-maker concerning the medical and psychological care of the children.

In court, Younger argued that Georgulas was forcing James to undergo gender transition. With the jury's decision, Georgulas is free to give James puberty-blocker medication that results in chemical castration and, ultimately, hormone pills to complete James' female transition to become "Luna."

Not only did the jury grant Georgulas sole custody paving the way to force gender transition upon the 7-year-old boy, but the jury granted Georgulas' petition to limit Younger's visitation of his two sons. Younger will also be required to refer to James as "Luna" and he is prohibited from exposing James to anyone who does not "affirm" what Georgulas claims is the male child's "female identity."

The two sides were in court last week arguing their case, according to The Texan.

I wonder what the odds are that this poor kid will commit suicide before graduating from high school?

Sadly, it's not just Texas - the world, indeed, is an insane asylum and the inmates have taken over.

I expected a little more sanity from Texas.

Lord, have mercy. The kids aren't even biologically hers!

There's got to be more to this case than meets the eye. The article linked in the OP differs markedly with its source, however; the jury only ruled on custody, with the judge ruling on everything else.

Part of the problem is that liberals are getting fed up with the high taxes and corruption in Democrat controlled states, so they're moving to more attractive Republican states, except they're bringing with them the same ideology that compelled them to vote corrupt politicians into office in the states they just left. It's the same sort of thinking behind people who keep wanting to try socialism again. "We just didn't do it right last time!"

Go read the other posts I've written on the trans issues.

Conservatives are surprised, dumbfounded, simply cannot understand how the Obvious Truth that 'men are physically different from women' can be rejected. Well, for those with eyes to see, this truth has already been denied in a) women being allowed into the combat forces, and b) homosexual 'marriage'. The denial is even on its way to becoming Constitutional. The denial is well-established in the US.

Now we're just seeing it applied to other areas, simple corollaries. Children can 'transition', 'trans-women' should compete with women in sports, no more segregated bathrooms for schoolchildren. There is a logic behind the insanity, why should any of this be a surprise?

Once upon a time, there was a Lie that men and women are Equal. Conservatives accepted most of it because they wanted to, but thought that the Obvious Truth could hold off the more insane implications that they didn't want. That failed.
Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return.

Have you ever been to Austin?

Austin is described as the blueberry in a sea of tomato soup --- but a number of other counties are turning blue as well, due to immigration.

This is true - It's REALLY CHEAP to rent a u-haul to move to California, cause they need them returned somehow or other.

Statistically, about 30% of transgender people have either committed suicide, or attempted suicide.

                        Then there is this:

Warren Calls on DHS to Allow Transgender Migrants Immediate Entry Into U.S.

Senators Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) and Tammy Baldwin (D., Wisc.) sent a letter on Thursday to the Department of Homeland Security urging the agency to allow transgender migrants to remain in the U.S. while their asylum cases are processed, rather than being returned to Mexico in accordance with current policy.

Under the recently-introduced Migrant Protection Protocols, the Trump administration requires that asylum-seekers who arrive at the southern border remain in Mexico while their claims are processed through DHS and ICE.

“We…call for DHS to use its discretion to release members of vulnerable populations, including transgender detainees,” Warren and Baldwin wrote in a letter addressed to acting ICE Director Matthew Albence and acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan and obtained by Out.com.

                          No kidding...

Battleground: 7 in 10 say US ‘on the edge of civil war’

Partisan political division and the resulting incivility has reached a low in America, with 67% believing that the nation is nearing civil war, according to a new national survey.

“The majority of Americans believe that we are two-thirds of the way to being on the edge of civil war. That to me is a very pessimistic place,” said Mo Elleithee, the executive director of Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service.

And worse, he said in announcing the results of the Institute’s Battleground Poll civility survey, the political division is likely to make the upcoming 2020 presidential race the nastiest in modern history.

I get the feeling the stuff's really going to hit the fan if Trump is reelected. We're going to see a national meltdown from the left like we've never seen before. And conservatives may just grow tried of getting attacked and start defending themselves. It could get ugly.
