That some people here at Tweb go along with this stuff is mind boggling. I am at a loss to know what to do with you anymore!

They haven't even come up with any actual criminal charges. "We don't like how he acts. Trump is a poopyhead" is not a high crime or misdemeanor. It's just hurt feelings and political maneuvering to hopefully win the election. But is is backfiring, the country at large is tired of the petty games they are playing.

And again, Trump has no obligation to appear at their "investigation"

Well, I can afford to waste $1. I’m waiting to read about Nunes. He might be in very deep poo.

NEWS FLASH.... after wallowing around in all kinds of sordid efforts to "get Trump", the Democrats, having failed to move the needle with impeachment, are regrouping, having hearings from liberal lawyers on how to do impeachment! Talk about the cart before the donkey!

Because Schiffy little Napoean had him and his team "investigated" too?

Adam Schiff is on the hook for subpoenaing the phone records of Trump's attorneys, Representative Nunes, and investigative reporter John Solomon. Talk about an abuse of power! I can't imagine that story is just going away without taking a piece of Shifty Schiff with it.

The Impeachment Drive Climbs Into the Clown Car

Up next, a pointless hearing before the House’s most incompetent committee.

On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Committee will hold its first hearing in the latest phase of the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump. Based on everything we know about the committee’s past oversight efforts, statements by Republican committee members and the president’s defense team, and the details of the panel itself, one thing seems clear: Compared with the staid and productive fact-finding work conducted by the House Intelligence Committee over the past few weeks, this hearing will almost certainly be a disaster.

If this hearing fails to produce further public momentum for impeachment—or ends up being outright counterproductive—it won’t be entirely the fault of the Democrats in charge of the committee. In many ways, the process and dynamics of the Judiciary Committee have been set up to produce a bad result.

It's what it's actually all about - trying to rally the American people to justify this political circus.

And after all the noise the Democrats made about "bribery", it's not even mentioned in the report.

                              • The folks at Issues & Insights explain how DAMNING the impeachment report is... for Democrats!

                                One excerpt....

So the Democrats’ entire impeachment case rests on two pillars. First, that Trump threatened national security by withholding an aid package to Ukraine. And, second, that he did so in order to get Ukraine’s new president to publicly announce investigations into two supposedly bogus scandals – Joe Biden’s son, and Ukraine’s efforts to keep Trump out of the White House – simply to wound Biden politically.

But read into the report, and then look through the Republican response, and you come to realize that the Democrats fail to support either claim. In fact, in some ways, they make Trump’s case for him.
