  • Trump not concerned with Russian interference in U.S election!

According to the Washington Post, in the May 2017 meeting between Trump, the Russian foriegn minister Lavrov and the Russian Ambassador Kislyak, Trump told them that he was not concerned with the Russian interference in the US election because the US has done the same in other countries. That's the same meeting where he told them that firing Comey would get that Russian investigation off his back, and where he gave classified information to them regarding Israel and Isis. Apparently the record of this was hidden away most likely on the same highly classified server that he hid away his extortion call to the Ukranian President for which he is now facing impeachment.

Obama wasn't concerned about it, either.

(December 2016) During an interview with the Daily Show’s Trevor Noah, Obama downplayed the hack of a private email account of Clinton campaign chief John Podesta, defending his administration for revealing in October that the Russian government was connected.

“None of this should be a big surprise,” Obama said, “Russia trying to influence our elections dates back to the Soviet Union.”

Obama dismissed the hack and the leaked emails as “not very interesting” and lacking “explosive” revelations. He puzzled as to why it was an “obsession” by the news media despite the knowledge that the Russians were responsible.

Egad! you really need to get out of that conservative propaganda bubble, MM. Obama was very concerned about it, he brought it to the attention of Senate Republicans with the hope of a bipartison defense against it, but Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell, aka Moscow Mitch, threatened to denounce publicly the assertion of Russian interference as a false charge made by Obama in order to help democrats and Hillary in the 2016 elections. You probably just forgot about that, right?

Just not concerned enough to bring it to the attention of either Hillary's or Trump's campaign.

Trump lives in the real world of realpolitik, you live in a childish delusional bubble. Go hug a giant teddy bear and cry about how reality, you big baby.

Jim, seriously, there is nobody on Tweb as ensconced in a propaganda bubble as you.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

No one in realpolitik actually cares, baby Jim. Modi endorses Trump in a Houston rally, and who screams about Indian interference?

No one. Not even you care.

You'd think you'd be able to figure out from my post that they, the respective campaigns, did know, since Obama brought it to the attention of Congress.

The real world with respect to democracy and freedom must be principled or you can kiss your freedom goodbye and be ruled, apparently as you wish to be, like an ignorant child! Thanks, but you can have your Putin Demi, we'll keep our freedom and rid ourselves of this wannabe Putin.

No, I'm not susceptible to lies like you Trumpsters so obviously are, CP.

And by realpolitik do you mean to say unethical, unprincipled, immoral, unpatriotic, treasonous politics? That might be the political philosophy that your idols Putin and Trump operate under, but that isn't the ideal we here in the U.S require and aspire to. That's why Trump is being impeached, and, if the Republican Senate has any principled members left, convicted.

                          JimL,
I presume then that you are strongly against the socialist-communist movement of the majority Democrat party.

I state this with recognition of what you posted to CP

It would be ironic for you to question CP's so-called susceptibility if you suffer from the same.

That is the definition of superb irony right there. I've even seen the hammer and sickle symbolic flag at various progressive demonstrations and marches.
