Well Jim, Nixon only resigned because the writing was on the wall. His republican supporters broke in the end and basically told him to either resign or be convicted in the Senate. I wouldn't say he had respect for the law either, but Trump is on a different level even than Nixon. He will drag the country down with him if he can before he ever resigns because he knows that once out of office he can be indicted. Most of the political right sources I read started off as anti Trump (shoot so did I, as my 2016 post would show). Many of them have switched due to Democrat political dirty tricks.
