  • Sri Lanka terror attack; over 200 dead

"More than 200 people were killed and hundreds more hospitalized from injuries after a series of blasts devastated three churches and three luxury hotels in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.

"The targets were Catholic worshippers attending Easter Mass and guests at high-end hotels popular with foreign tourists."

Not sure who is to blame yet but the government issued warnings about a week ago due to threats from a radical Islamist group, National Thowheeth Jama’ath.

I'm always still in trouble again

How about we wait for proof? I know that is hard for some who would rather blame but...

It's not stupid to wait for evidence in this of all countries, considering Sri Lanka has an extensive history of Hindu terrorism.

Source: Sri Lanka Bomber Stood at Hotel Buffet then Unleashed Terror

Colombo (AFP) — The suicide bomber waited patiently in a queue for the Easter Sunday breakfast buffet at Sri Lanka’s Cinnamon Grand hotel before setting off explosives strapped to his back.

Carrying a plate, the man, who had registered at the hotel the night before as Mohamed Azzam Mohamed, was just about to be served when he set off his devastating strike in the packed restaurant, a manager at the Sri Lankan hotel said.

It is possible, of course, that the perpetrator registered under a false name.

Hindu terrorism? I thought the eastern religions were supposed to be peaceful.

Hindus do their share of religious persecution.

Humans are just horrible. Why are humans mean to others just because they are different? To the point of murder?

Evil people are just evil? But why would I not want to actually hurt people who I disagree with? I wouldn't act like that! Mainly because Jesus doesn't want me to do that, but I also don't want to!

Interesting... The information I can find suggests that the Tamil Tigers would be more likely to attack government targets and not Christian churches.

Anyway, there's no question about who's behind this latest incident:

                              Source: Breitbart

A local Islamist terrorist group called National Thowfeek Jamaath was responsible for multiple Easter Sunday suicide bomb attacks against Christians and luxury hotel guests in Sri Lanka, government officials on Monday revealed.

Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne told a news conference that all the bombers were Sri Lankan citizens.
