Is that really something the left believe? It would be correct to say the left believes greed causes businesses to pay their workers as little as possible, but I don't think anyone on the left would disagree with you if you said that was to the detriment of everyone involved. Then, later, the author "debunks" the idea that wages have stagnated because this owner of a single franchise pays fast food workers more and a handful of small business offer craft beer or an arcade room. Then the author says "stagnant pay presumes a lack of economic growth", showing he does not understand the difference between an increase in corporate profits and an increase in median household income. Then he reiterates that "people staffing U.S. businesses are being paid more and more", again, because of a single franchise owner.

Cow Poke, I advise you and anyone else to never get any information, opinion or otherwise, from a news source that hires a 3rd-grader to write about how generous his friend is. Your critical thinking skill shouldn't go out the window the second you read a headline that is negative towards liberals.
Always good to see you, PM.

'Fraid not. The US has a higher abortion rate than any of those atheistic Scandinavian or Australasian countries.

Wait. Are the liberals here actually complaining because someone is paying MORE than minimum wage?

No. Not sure how you got that from anything said here.

No actually, abortion rates are higher in the religious USA than in most secular countries. Just as the religious USA has more violence and greater lack of social equity than most secular countries. It seems that religion is a bit of a health hazard and should be discouraged.

It's amazing that you people will adamantly claim the US is not a Christian nation, argue that the founding fathers intended no such thing, insist (incorrectly) that God is only mentioned once in the Declaration of Independence, then you'll call us a "religious USA" to try to prove how religion is a bad thing.

There can be a pretty big difference between "religious" and Christian.

What the founding fathers intended is beside the point. Christianity is by far the largest religion in the United States; more than three-quarters of Americans identify as Christians. - Cited Washington Post.

Typically side and dishonest! The argument referred to the DoI god as "natures god", i.e. the god of Deism. But you lot insist that it refers to the Christian god. So if that's the case, you need to explain why the USA has higher abortion rates than in most secular countries. Not to mention higher levels of violence and greater lack of social equity than most secular countries.

Ya know, it really gets old when of person of your ilk and notoriety accuses somebody else of being dishonest. (And your usual insult is "snide", not side)

There were THREE other mentions you choose to ignore based on your own inept opinion.

Actually, I made no such claim - I just refuted your ignorant claim by showing there were other references to God, including "the Supreme Judge of the world".

                  Apparently, you think that's you!
