Anyone else hear about China's decision to remove all "homosexual content" from Sina Weibo -- their blogging platform -- all in an effort of an announced 3 month long "clean-up campaign" to remove "illegal" content, including "manga and videos with pornographic implications, promoting violence or (related to) homosexuality."

Looks like it ignited some protests.

The problem is the implications it has on free speech. What's to stop the government from banning speech that we might approve of? Such as passages of scripture that call homosexuality a sin?
