Well a picture can say more than a thousand words... And in this case I think it does."Yes. President Trump is a huge embarrassment. And it’s an embarrassment to evangelical Christianity that there appear to be so many who will celebrate precisely the aspects that I see Biblically as most lamentable and embarrassing." Southern Baptist leader Albert Mohler Jr.

Obama, veritably surrounded by a sea of lily-white faces. I guess that makes him a racist. Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd

This a problem of the appointment of interns. When you see a picture of Obama's interns you see diversity. When you see Trump's appointees you see WHITE.Last edited by shunyadragon; 04-02-2018, 11:43 AM.Glendower: I can call spirits from the vasty deep.

Trump's is the least diversified cabinet in MANY years. Obama and Bush, by comparison, at least came close to 50% women and minority representation. Some will undoubtedly make the argument that a "merit-based" cabinet will not always be diversified. For me, that argument is a non-starter. I believe the nation is best served by a cabinet of capable people who represent the cross-section of America. This team cannot represent all Americans if there is not reasonable representation of our cross section. It is hard for me to believe that, in all America, there was only one white woman, one Asian woman, and one black man qualified to serve on this body. Previous presidents also made sure to have some voices of the opposition in the cabinet, with Obama setting a record at three Republicans. Trump also set a recent record: zero. The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. To the OP, since when does the President waste time picking his interns?"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot
