  • Woman Arrested for Seven Dead Babies

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/04/14...xes-in-garage/

Frankly I think this could go in Pro Life Activism just as well, but not everyone can contribute to a discussion in that forum.

I think there's going to be more to this story as they dig deeper in their investigation.

Lord Jesus have mercy on all. The saddest thing is...nobody noticed anything wrong. Now how many times am I seeing this scenario? Nobody really noticed those three women imprisoned for ten years in that house in Cleveland. ..and in some of those recent mass killings nobody noticed anything wrong with the killers....

So it's wrong to kill them after birth, but it would have been a-ok to kill them before? Why do some people think late term abortion and infanticide are ok?

And just how different is the mindset this woman had about killing these babies from those who go to a clinic for the same thing?

Don't know. She would have had to known what she was doing unless she was suffering from postpartum psychosis, but 7 times? Somethings going on.

Hmm. A correction: she's charged with 6 deaths ... apparently one was stillborn.

She still kept all seven bodies in her house instead of burying them. How did no one know she was pregnant? Seven times?

I know...and they're all asking each other those questions. There ARE women who won't show much at all... I knew one who didn't show at all until her sixth month but by her last child she did show.

Well, just look at them as very late term abortions...

After-birth abortion: why should the baby live?

                  Abstract:

                  http://jme.bmj.com/content/early/201...11-100411.full

Abortion is largely accepted even for reasons that do not have anything to do with the fetus' health. By showing that (1) both fetuses and newborns do not have the same moral status as actual persons, (2) the fact that both are potential persons is morally irrelevant and (3) adoption is not always in the best interest of actual people, the authors argue that what we call ‘after-birth abortion’ (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled.

Here's an update. People are now realizing they did see weight and clothes changes. Also, police have a theory but they're not sharing it right now.

Seer, I agree that's very disturbing discussion, but until more is known about this woman I don't think we can even assume she held to that philosophy. Even if she did, it would be very hard for her to argue there was something wrong with all those babies.

I don't know what worldview she held to, but the fact is we have had an ongoing cultural devaluing of the unborn - and as my link showed a coming devaluing of the just born. But it follows logically. If there is no ontological certainty when it comes to the human being then it is all up for grabs.

Sounds like some sort of mental brokeness

Always horrible things like this are called sickness. I call them expressions of sin.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
