  • Boston Globe discovers disturbing fact about solar eclipse

When even the celestial bodies evidence such brazen prejudice, can there be doubt any longer?

I say we impeach Trump without further delay.

Maybe the sun is hiding from Trump supporters? Or saying that Trump supporters are in the dark?

Whatever the explanation, we can be sure that Putin is behind it somehow.

Eh... I don't have enough context to understand what they're getting at.

The path of the best viewing area of the eclipse is primarily -- almost exclusively -- over Trump country. The first reply (the one by Lori Latimer) aptly explains why that is essentially inevitable.

I'm always still in trouble again

Solar eclipses used to be interpreted as an omen of doom.

That seems appropriate at the moment with Trump's America.

During the first solar eclipse I was old enough to recall seeing, Bush Snr was invading Iraq at the time. So clearly they always occur during wars.

I guess this next one will be during a nuclear war with North Korea.

Good thing Hillary lost, otherwise you might be on to something.

Last solar eclipse I really paid attention to was the one back in 1970. It was a full eclipse where I lived.

Not surprising since the vast majority of counties went for Trump.

The same could be said about any really big country be it Canada, Brazil, Russia... or even a continent like Australia.

And I'll clue you in, many of those blue areas like those in New Mexico or Mississippi are anything but cities.

But why, when Kiwiland is so very very much more welcoming to refugees!!! And still has lots of space!!!
