  • The UN-Democrat Party Machine

Because oxmixmudd (and a couple others) seemed truly oblivious to this fact, I thought I would start a thread on it.

Whenever the Left claims that Trump is a "threat to democracy", they exhibit absolutely no introspection. When conservatives turn the tables on them and mention how Democrats are trying to remove Trump from the ballot - very undemocratic of them - they somehow justify it by saying that Trump must not get back into the White House because he would cancel elections (or some such nonsense). But it's not just Trump. The Democrats are trying to eliminate all non Democrat candidates. They are the supreme anti-democracy party.

Even the mainstream media acknowledges it.

In pursuing ballot access in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., No Labels has raised a backlash from Democratic leaders and groups that fear the group's candidate could take votes from President Biden and hand the presidency to Trump.

    https://www.npr.org/2023/11/02/12102...p-biden-pelosi

Speaking to reporters Thursday, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she believes the group is not truly nonpartisan, but that it and its donors want to advance Republican policies.

"I think that our democracy is at risk, and I think that No Labels is perilous to our democracy," she warned. "I say that without any hesitation."

"All he can do is take away votes from President Biden and make it easier for Donald Trump to win. And we simply can't afford to let that happen," said Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis.

Michigan state Sen. Mallory McMorrow said the Kennedy ticket is "disgusting and an abuse of our democracy."

The DNC filed an FEC complaint against RFK Jr.'s campaign, alleging that it's receiving an illegal contribution from his super PAC, American Values 2024, because the group is trying to get him on the ballot in several states.

    https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/202.../zneh-m15.html

The NBC article added, “More legal challenges are almost guaranteed, with attorneys actively monitoring third-party ballot access attempts across the country to look for any slip-up that could be exploited.” That is, the Democrats are preparing to challenge every signature and use every anti-democratic legal maneuver to prevent challengers from being on the ballot.

Notice how none of these detractors are accusing Republicans or Trump as being the threat, but the Democrats. Even the freaking Socialist Party is angry at them!

The Democrats are the threat to our democracy. No one else.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the smear campaign against Jill Stein by the Democrats. They will tolerate no opposition.

C'monman! There's gonna be plenty of candidates to select from. Aside from old Joe there will be "Robin Ware," "Robert L. Peters" and "JRB Ware."

      Lotsa choices!

The control of the DNC and the methods they use to either attack or marginalize unfavorable candidates epitomizes how a totalitarian ruling party would work, outside of just taking the candidates out back and executing them.

Democrats consider it a threat to democracy any time they are at risk of losing.

They always use the repetitive catchphrase "our democracy," which means our worldview.

I've noticed that none of the usual subjects ("Trump is a threat to democracy!" mantra) haven't shown up here, but they have been posting on other threads. So it's not like they are on vacation.

                Sometimes there is no argument?

On a somewhat related note, Democrats are considering suspending their voter registration drives for college aged kids, especially young blacks, because latest polling says they are more likely to vote for Trump.

Given the number of blacks indicating that they will not be voting Democrat this election (either voting Republican or sitting it out), it should be interesting to see how many black districts in places like Philadelphia and Detroit that traditionally have over 100% of the registered voters casting ballots there (and 100%, without exception of the votes are for the Democrats) will there be. I mean it is going to be incredibly hard to maintain that this go around.

I'm not going to anticipate a "red wave" since that was predicted a couple years ago and fizzled.

But the one very unique thing happening in this election is a direct A-to-B comparison. "Who's presidency do you prefer, since we've both been president?" Hasn't happened since Grover Cleveland.

Hysterical claims about what Trump will do tend to get countered by the fact that we can see what Trump did as president. The whole Reaganesque question of are you better off now tends to reemerge.

Oh, and Teddy Roosevelt v. Taft (although TR was running as an independent).

Assuming we have elections, I'm going to predict cheating and rigging that is even more explicit and off-the-chart evident than 2020.
